Same Medicare scam, only Caller i.d. did not show a "company name" this time. It amazes me how cheaply they can "cover" the Medicare prescription gap. Yeah right! Too bad people actually believe these scammers. I blocked this number along with all the other numbers they've used. (BTW, the DNC List works exactly like it should. But criminals don't care about a DNC list and aren't going to abide by it. Why don't people understand that?).
Caller ID only indicated "unknown" but the call was disconnected, as are all robocalls to me, after one ring. So.... yep, telemarketer, scam, survey... take your pick.
More information. If you call the number and are silly enough (I was) to push one to be added to the DNC, you will be given a number to call to find out who called you. SERIOUSLY. wow. GOVT, DO YOUR JOB! That number indicates the business is Teleconnect in San Juan Capistrano, CA. So... STILL no information.
The DNC list does NOT work like it should. It's a joke. I filed over 100 complaints with them and was told every one didn't fit the requirements. Every one was exactly as it should have been and was accurate and complete. I gave this info to my Representative and he said to file the complaints with them again. Reputable companies may comply but the ones that don't aren't afraid of this non-effective agency. The non-reputable companies laugh at your threats. The best advice is to not answer. I keep a VOIP line that I give out as my home number to any business that needs to contact me. All other calls go to the cell phones. The VOIP line gets 10 calls a day and almost none are legit.
