Same old scam, different number. You gotta love spoofing software and Magic Jack. The only good thing is sites like these; at least they have to keep changing numbers to keep up the extortion attempts.
Even if it's some other sort of loan you supposed ly owe them keep this in mind..l"agents" don't call first. If the DEA were after you, they wouldn't call first, and the FBI doesn't due debt collection. Even if they were after you for something, they wouldn't call first, either.
Have been receiving calls from different companies after I applied for a loan but didn't know it was a payday loan. This one number has been very persistent. As like others he has a thick accent and tells me to call back ASAP and if I don't then he says he wishes me luck and to get a lawyer. I have learned to stick with well known companies if any loan company at all.
thank you for the heads up because just after i read this post they called me and told me the same thing and when i asked them for the contact imformation they said it was an online company and the only contact through email. So I hung up and called the police. Thank you so much.
Just got a call from the same number, my Dad answered, they asked for me. My Dad handed me the phone and they hung up. They knew what year and make/model car I had. My Dad said the man sounded like a white male, not an Indian accent.
Everyone I found the phone service povider for the number that has been contacting us.

A family member received a call from 484-352-2340 after 5pm yesterday. The caller told her that she had a payday loan out for $718 and she had not picked it up. The caller told her that she had until 8pm to pay at least $400 of the loan back or they would send it to the "Attorney General". At 7:50pm they called back, and said that she could have until morning, but if it was not paid first thing in the morning that a warrant would be issued for her arrest. She doesn't recall getting a payday loan, but is frightened by the prospect of being arrested. What should she do? Oh, and the caller would not give her the name of the company she allegedly received the payday loan from, only told her it was "US Cash"
