Who called from 4844890922

i got a call from this number but no message was left. i don't answer numbers i don't know.

This number 484-489-0922 called my cell phone.  Ignored the call, no message left.  My trick for not having these calls ring on my phone over and over is this -- the first time they call, I add them to my contact list in my phone under "Scam Calls."  Then I use the feature my HTC Evo phone has where you can designate a number or any numbers listed under a specific contact to go straight to voicemail.  So the next time they call, my phone doesn't ring and it goes straight to voicemail.  They usually don't leave a message anyway, so I'm not bothered by the ringing.  It's not as good as not having them call me at all, but at least I don't have to hear the phone ringing each time!

Haha!  That's a good one. It's always refreshing to see creative new scams.  We've grown so tired of the old ones.

Politicians are definitely known for "compensating" people, but only people who give them lots of money!  I hope nobody falls for this.

Pretty sure it's a political survey, which are exempt from the Do Not Call Registry...

I answered then they hung up...I never called the number back, for fear of ig being a scam. Mtg suspicions were correct.
