A guy with a foreign accent called, said they were a mortgage co, told him I wasnt interested in a refi, he said thats not why he's calling but kept asking for my home loan info, interest rate, loan amount, etc. He said they are a program to make people aware of better rates. Then started again with asking for info so I just hung up.
called here too - incessantly - no message - number reads "Chester, PA" This was from 484-589-5642. Probably ten calls in two days. I haven't answered but I'd like to just to tell this caller to go away. Same thing - new cell phone. I set it to a contact "no ring" on Verizon since we can't block calls. Why can't these people leave us alone?
CALL the Peerless Network (Out of Chicago)...They provide the phone service.(312)-505-0920 They will give you several options as to which dept. you want to contact. I finally got through on #4 I think,...L&C (or something like that.) They'll tell you that they just provide the dial tone, and someone else provided them with a # and/or service. They know who this is, they won't tell you though! Tell them to block your # coming from 484-589-5642. It'll take at least 72 hours.I had to call them several X's.The only way to actually find out who this is,...You have to sue Peerless and get a subpeona.You can file a complaint with the BBB.
Call the "parent Co" Peerless Network (312) 506- 0920. They provide the phone service. Just pick an option, 1 through like 5,...get someone to answer, tell them that you want them to block your #. (it takes at least 72 hours) The only satisfaction we could get is for a lot of people to repeatedly call theses guys and complain, tie up their phone lines,give them an earful / hard time over the phone and file a complaint with the BBB. ( In Chicago) You can do it online.

They can be fined per call now,...but evidently, it's difficult to "pin them down" to collect.
