Recorded message stating they can repair my credit. I pressed 1 to get as much info for my illegal telemarketer complaint and "Michelle" claimed to be calling from Mobile, Alabama and said her company was Credit Repair Hotline. She also said they were accredited with the BBB, which is false.
Their website was creditrepairhotline247.xyz but this appears to be shut down, which is probably why Michelle said they did not have a website at this time.
I informed her she was calling a cell phone which was on the federal do not call list for over 2 years. I also asked for a written copy of their do-not-call policy which was required by law that they provide it in writing as per the Telephone Consumer Protection Act 47 C.F.R. § 64.1200(d) she refused.
I then informed her she was calling a cell phone which was on the federal do not call list for over 2 years and she said that since I pressed 1 I opted in for their call, despite the fact that she was the one who called me. I then informed her this was also a violation of the consent clause of the TCPA and she basically said she can do whatever she wants.
