just got a call from 800 732 4504 wanting my daughter and saying that she had a serious financial matter that needed to be tended to. They would not give me any information. Just that she must call them. I told them to send me some documentation.
I told them I think it is a scam.
They probably don't want to give you an address because they'd rather have your checking account or card info so they could get what THEY want from you! Don't EVER give any info so someone you're not sure about!!!
I suggest NOT answering any # you don't know. First thing I do when I get a # I don't know is GOOGLE IT. If it's one of these type calls I save it as "DO NOT ANSWER - FCS". That way, when it calls, I just slide my little red button on my phone to HANG UP!
Called me today but I 'd blocked the number before when the caller ID showed International Computer Services. Today the caller ID showed Business Office. I don't answer phone numbers I don't know anymore!
I'm an Arkansan. I've been a monthly recurring contributor to AETN, PBS affiliate, based in Little Rock. I've not updated my card info intentionally. They were very earnest about trying to get ahold of me, and left voicemails. I haven't had a voicemail in 2-3 weeks, but I am getting regular calls from different numbers that all ID as Little Rock. I haven't answered them. I've only assumed it was AETN or somebody they contract with.
