Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) asking for donations. ID comes up as Louisville, KY. If this is a legitimate charity then why won't they ID themselves as such, think about it.

They call and never leave a message. A legitimate charity would at least leave who they are and why they called. If they were interested in anything other than scamming it seems they would leave a call-back number in case you want to donate.
By the way, don't donate to anyone collecting on behalf of an organization or charity. These "donation collection agencies" are businesses and they will take the majority of your donation to pay their own salaries leaving very little for the people who are supposed to benefit from the donation. That is why I list them as telemarketers instead of non-profits.
Too bad the "Do not call" laws are so weak and full of loopholes.
