Unwanted calls are not legitimate calls and that is what people are here to find out about, an unwanted caller. It is not useful to know what legitimate company called, since you already know who it is and so would anyone else who got a legitimate call. Scammers, telemarketers and other shady criminals regularly "spoof" legitimate company numbers to trick potential victims into answering and give them a chance to trick them into giving personal info or money. These are the ones people report about and doesn't necessarily reflect on the actual business, unless it is a "shady" business.
If you are representing a legitimate business and think these reports will somehow affect your business, it wont, since its the scammers using your number to try scamming people and your customers will know you don't operate the way people have reported.
By you defending your number, you will only be seen as a shill attempting "damage control" to trick people into answering THEIR calls. If you feel compelled to comment, remember your comment might be called into question and if it is, DO NOT make the mistake of defending it against those who have reported, since if they were not from your business, then they were from a scammer and you do not want to confuse your customers with you being the scammer.
Make your comment and move on, it will remain for your customers to read and draw their own conclusions about the others who reported. Continued defensive responses and argumentive replies will put your "voice" into the spotlight for all your customers to see and you risk having your comments removed if you step over the line by violating the TOS.
