I just got a call from them. If they persist I'm going to get a fog horn and press the button to speak with someone and give them a blast. If everyone did this if they see this number on their caller id they might think twice on the next call or wear earmuffs. Hate to be harsh, but these folks don't care about others.
Most likely collections. Why I write that is because, these firms buy bulk debt and speed dial the phone numbers. Even if your number is new to you or re-issued to you as an old number from someone else use who is part of their accounts load...your phone gets the call. If the old party did nothing but change numbers, the cycle continues until they (the caller) are told not to call or understand they are calling the wrong number...best to my understanding. Problem is...mostly machines doing the calling...good old collection people are a dying trade...miss the intimidation. Just my opinions here, but seems to follow me as well...just got same call, same number and I am in collections.
If they are trying to "make a living and get by" by violating the do not call list and harrassing the elderly for buying over the phone, NO, I do not give a warm bucket of spit about what they are trying to do.
Telemarketers are worse than bed bugs and cockroaches. It is impossible to offend one of them, but I keep trying.
