They called you before your son hoping you would get all flustered, contact him in a panic, and create false shame. Better still, you could scold your son into "coming out of hiding" on the pretense he cannot be found. This is a well worn collection tactic, deceptive and illegal under FDCPA. If you're in a Canadian province you should have a similar regulation.
Called the number, person named "Rebecca" answered, and I recognized the "name" and voice as a collection agency that keeps calling and asking for someone whom I don't know. But usually they stay on the line, and it's a new number that they haven't called from before.

Very pleasant woman,asking for my son who hasn't lived with me for 20+ years.So,if this is Asset,they do collections for Tuality Community Hospital.I called billing a couple months ago,stating the problem.Just left a message I'm keeping track and WILL sue them for harassment.Why the hell are they calling a 42 year old man's MOM?Sheesh.
