Called me at 7:26 PM tonight. This is the 3rd call from this company, with the other calls also being after 7 PM. They do not leave a message. I'm on the Do Not Call list.
I received a call from Intercept Research based in Tigard, Oregon this evening at 6:54 p.m. Fortunately, I screen all my calls with my answering machine and the company's caller id showed up on my telephone. Since I knew it was a telemarketing call and I am registered on the Do Not Call list I did not answer the call. However, I did a little research on this company and found out they are not obeying the tenets of the Do Not Call directive from the US Government. They have numerous complaints from other Do Not Call customers. Also, I was formerly employed as a telemarketer and I keep current with the telemarketing laws in the U.S.
Finally, I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry about this particular firm and advise everyone who reads this to do so if they have been contacted by Intercept Research.
