Received a call from this number on my office phone around 6:00 pm yesterday. Fortunately I'd already left for the day. Not the first call from this source.

Really? You promise? Then why the Sam Hell you call 5 times a week? Best thing to do is to file complaints with the federal and local state communication commissions. I do believe in some states people have the right to sue whether or not they are on a list. Next time they call, go through the motions and have them give up information about the company they work for voluntarily. Then, drop the hammer on them and threaten to sue not just the company, but them personally because they are breaking laws on the behalf of the company they work for. You may not have to ask to have your name removed. As soon as they hang up, they just might remove your number for ya.
Being harassed by this number or similar. When we try to tell them we have no credit card debt they immediately hang up and then another month goes by and it's the same old crap.
