They are a FAKE PC repair company claiming to be working for MICROSOFT...calling as a courticy to repair computers because of downloaded problems!! Virus etc. THEY ARE FAKE...he got angry when I told him I would look into the company and call microsoft and then contact him back if need be...he wanted to take control of my computer!! YA RIGHT!! O.K. Buddy...not likely!!!
I received a call from this number a few minutes ago and decided to look it up here. Definite scam artists. They insisted they were from Miami but I know that this number does not belong to Miami-Dade County. He hung up after I told him I was aware of the exchanges of Miami. Meanwhile, I felt that it was a scam and did not want to give any information. They really are pretty good at their "job". Everything that David Mckenzie wrote in the article above, is what they were trying to "sell" me!!!! They wanted to fix my computer!!!
just got same call from Robert Wilson , said he was advised by the satellite my computer was infected and wanted to enter into my computer . no way I said.
