Just received this call for the second time this week and decided to answer. They're conducting a 2-question survey on behalf of a company's name I missed... it was three(ish) letters and started with G though.
The 2 questions were if I was pro-life or pro-choice on the issue of abortion, and if when electing a government official to office is their stance on abortion important to me.
calls started three days ago and now will go to the company and complain in person. We have blocked this with our provider but I will go to their offices to complain personally. They are [***].
Numerous calls from the same number as everyone else here on this post..07.19.08 @ 2:51 p.m. was the last one. Wondering why there is even a "Do not call" list, since it never works.
I got a call tonight from a guy named "Steven" who asked for me by name. He asked me if I was pro-choice or pro-life, and that how I would rate the importance of electing a candidate who promotes my position. It was weird because this is my cell phone...and I have no clue how they got it and my name. Kind of freaks me out.
These guys have called a couple of times in the last few days. I didn't answer and they left no message either time. Funny thing is that the landline rang for about a minute without ever kicking over to voicemail, which it's supposed to do in 15 seconds. Is there technology available that can prevent their getting sent to voicemail?
