Asked for the business owner by name. I never confirm with such a caller that I am the person they're asking for. Instead I ask what the purpose of the call is. Then he said he's with some financial company, a name that didn't match what showed on caller ID, and asked if our business accepts credit card payments. Told him very bluntly "Yes, and we're happy with the service we have, so don't waste your time or mine with a sales pitch." He actually said "OK, thanks," and hung up. Probably trying to beat me at hanging up. At least it worked.
Sick of it! Another call from Prestige Payment Systems during lunch hour. I picked up and hung up as fast as i could and they called right back, i hung up on them again.
