Received multiple calls from this number on cell phone. No message. I do not answer if I don't recognize. Legit companies will leave a message. Don't answer!
This is a legitimate company located in Portland, Oregon. They do paid research studies. My husband and I have participated many times over the last 5 years. I know someone who is going to a study next week too. They do a screening over the phone, then if you qualify they will invite you to either their office, a conference room at a hotel or other business, or sometimes the client's place of business for the study. I have participated in a mock jury, radio listening preferences, toy studies, laptop studies, taste tests, focus group for Taco Bell commercial, Intel software, etc. The pay is anywhere from $25 - $150 depending on the length of time and what the client wants to spend. Usually 30 minutes up to 2 hours. The only thing I did longer than 2 hours was the mock jury, but the pay was higher. And they usually provide snacks and drinks too.
They usually leave a message when I'm not home, but not always.
this "company" is completely out of line. why dont they go find their research targets in a public place instead of interrupting people in their home. I called them back and asked to be removed from the list, and was asked for my name and number. I asked her "what is the matter you dont like being interrupted with a call you didn't want?"
