Someone called from this number and asked for my husband. When I said he wasn't here they hung up on me and when I tried calling them back to see who it was, they would not answer.
Snippy-sounding woman called for Carol Crestman. I told her that there had never been anyone by that name at my number, and never to call my number again. She hung up on me. I have had enough of this nonsense from collection agencies. Obviously, the number I got from AT&T, when I moved back home to New Orleans, is one that is favored by deadbeats. I'm getting sick of it. Another person I keep getting calls for from 1-317-806-8712 is someone named Angela Cool (see www.generalrevnue.com for these dingbats.) I have written to EdFund, which is the parent company for General Revenue Corp., and told them that if they continue to harass and threaten me, I will file a lawsuit against them. This is all enough to make you stop using the telephone altogether -- even cell phones are not immune!
