Just went to www.telcove.com. Got bounced to something called Level 3 Communications. To get through to TelCove you have to have an account with the extension @telcove.net. No wonder we cannot get these creeps off of our backs. They are all enmeshed in a tangled web of owners of owners. According to Equifax, I have no outstanding loans. Reason: I pay cash for everything now. No more credit cards.
I just got a call from this number. I answered it and got a computer voice asking for me and I pressed one. Then they put me on hold to retrieve my information and at that point I hung up on them. They are not going to waste my daytime minutes (cell phone) to be on hold with what appears to be a bill collector.
Called today and left message for my ex-husband to return their call. Well, next time I see this number on my caller ID I'll have to answer it for the fun of telling 'em to "take a number" ... legally, I have first dibs on any of his income for all of the back child and spousal support he owes me. Then they can line up behind everyone else he's screwed during his lifetime.
(I quit worring about his bills when he left us with $9.00 in the bank and took off with $16,000 in Army disability severance pay.)
