I have been getting texts from this guy about a car on Craigslist. What was the outcome in your situation to say it was a scam? He said he is sending the money, and will wait till it clears before contacting a shipping company.

I also got texts messages from this number asking me about an item i had posted on craigslist, and he said that he only can use paypal to send the money and after I got the money he would contact the shipping company to come pick up the item..total scam ,,, don't give out any information to this guy , he uses the name Richard Brown when he contacted me.
They text me about a car I had on Craigslist. They went by the name Gary Fontaneu. Tried yo use PayPal and shipping. I asked his name again and he said Richard Brown. Scammer!
