Just answered a call from 504-367-1244. They wanted me to confirm my husband's social security number. I said ABSOLUTLEY NOT. She said they had all of his information and they needed me to confirm. I told her to mail my whatever they needed to discuss with me, she YELLED WE HAVE. I spoke calmly and told her that we had received NOTHING from a lawyer's office. I repeated, please mail me the information again and I will be glad to return your call. She then YELLED and said I CAN TELL WE ARE GETTING NOWHERE and hung up the phone.
I am reporting them to my State Attorney General's office.
I have been scammed before and I will NOT BE SCAMMED again!

I like you am big, I stand 6' 5" tall and have 220 lb's, maybe the both of us can straighten these rude idiot's out. Obnoxious people, I can't walk out the door unless the phone rings and it is some &^%$# wanting money or trying to sell something. I am on the do not call list too. I can't seem to get anything done or go any where without the phone ringing from who know's. It is different if it is a friend or a relative, but I have to deal with this. AT&T must hand out our number's along with every othe phone- company. I blame them too. I am ready to take a ride with you, I can kick the Harley over and scare the S---- out of them, ready?????
I worked for this company for quite some time. They are indeed real. The Law office of D. Michael Dendy is NOT a fraudulent company. They do have a few decent people who work there who will really help you, but unfortunetly there are a select bunch that are the rudest people I have ever met. They love to hear people say "you cant get blood from a turnip", as turnips dont bleed.RVW also likes to tell people to get crayons to write down the number, meaning the debtor is acting like a kid. They have the right to find out who your neighbors are and they are able to get lots of info about ANYONE. Sometimems very personal info. They have the right to do alot of things you dont think they would be able to. If you are deep in debt use a consumer credit counseling service. They HATE these companies. I hope this helps.
I think Michael Dendy & Audubon Recovery are the same thing. They buy charged off debts from bank card companies and then use threatening and sadistic tactics to collect. Their tactics don't give the debtor any incentive to work with them. One person will tell you something; then transfer you to someone else who turns vicious and backs out on the commitment. Just a bad company. Gives the debtor no incentive to try and pay.
I have received phone calls from them and they claim to have an old credit card debt of mine. When they called me, I had no paperwork from them and didn't know what they were talking about. They asked all kinds of personal questions, etc. My question for you is, how do I get them to send me some proof as to what they have on me? When I asked the lady (I won't say her name) to do that, she informed that I would have to pay the full amount. Which really doesn't make any sense, but I couldn't get anywhere with her. Then another person got on the line and chewed me out. What can I do to verify they even have information to begin with? Thank you for any help. I would really appreciate it!
