Just got a call as well when I saw it was from Louisiana I hit the ignore button because that was my red flag for a BS call. No message left and I too called back from a work landline and a recording said # out of service. That's odd, since they can dial out! I think the phone company should know about this!
Got 2 calls. Same message about lowering interest rate. First one hung up on me when I asked who they were trying to contact. The second one responded like a street rat when I asked who they were trying to contact. He said that he just wanted to talk to a nice [***]. Really? Someone pays people for this ignorant, nasty, harassment?
this is total phone spoofing, which is a free app in any smartphone. I have a 3 line whole page of these numbers that are all cells and all automated. if it list a state , its bogus. I even get united states as caller name. DO NOT ANSWER. if you answer , then they know its a live line. THEY GOT YA.
