CALLED MY JOB. A BIG NO. NO PERSONAL CALLS AT WORK ALLOWED. WANTED MY DATE OF BIRTH TO VERIFY WHO SHE WAS TALKING TO.I ASKED HER WHO SHE WAS WITH SHE ONLY TOLD ME IT WAS A PERSONAL MATTER. I WOULD NOT GIVE IT TO HER.
I have advised them that this is not my daughter's phone, that I do not pay for minutes for them to do their collections and that they do not have my permission to call me on that number. Any legal recourse for consumers? My daughter gave my number to them without my knowledge or consent, I guess it was for a medical bill. But I have told them to stop calling me. She uses my address but does not always live there.
Voicemail left on 12-27-10 at 10:15am. Recorded message stating her name as Sue Connor. Does not state the nature of the call, but leaves an alternate toll-free number if calling back from outside the 504 area code.
Got a call a my home.....same numbers as above, same person (Susan Conner). My husband is looking for a job (been unemployed since Katrina) and I'd sent out several resumes. The message sounded like a recording, which made me suspicious.
Sue Conner. I know what it is -- it's for an Ochsner bill. So much for having health insurance! And then, I couldn't believe they turned it over to collections so quickly. No calls or letters from Ochsner.
Nevertheless, I've been paying Ochsner faithfully every month and refuse to pay this agency and do not have any intentions of EVER answering Ms. "Conner"'s calls.
this person has been calling on a weekly basis, and thanks to this site i know that it is a debt collector. The sad thing is, I don't have any bills for hospitals in New Orleans, I live in Mississippi, and they call me at work and my cell and i have them all paid up through my health insurance, any one know if they handle Mississippi too?
