CALLED MY JOB. A BIG NO. NO PERSONAL CALLS AT WORK ALLOWED. WANTED MY DATE OF BIRTH TO VERIFY WHO SHE WAS TALKING TO.I ASKED HER WHO SHE WAS WITH SHE ONLY TOLD ME IT WAS A PERSONAL MATTER. I WOULD NOT GIVE IT TO HER.
Do Not Answer these people. SCAM !!!! They want you to give out personal info like social, birthday, etc. They said they were a collection agency. They KNEW MY BIRTHDAY ?? I still didnt feel that this was right though so I denied my birthday info. They claimed that I owed $738.00 to them, but I have immaculate credit so I KNOW I DO NOT OWE ANYONE!!! Please please please refrain from answering these people and giving your personal info.
Just received a call from this number today. She said her name was Katie B. (can't remember last name and all I wrote down was the first letter). She said she was calling from SCD but my caller id says it is Shared Communications. When I asked her to tell me what SCD represented, she refused to tell me. After I told her unless she gave me the name of the company the person she was trying to contact would not return her phone call, she rudely said the person is over 18 year old and it is her discussion to return the phone call. I simply said Good Bye and hung up.
Southern recovery is mostly in the southern parts..louisiana an mississippi.who ever you owe money to...your out standing bill amount is sold to a collection agency ( southern credit recovery ) in this case...their just another agency trying to collect a debt from another company..
This number called me twice today. I am located in FL but I KNOW I don't have one ounce of debt in my name... So I don't know if this is a scam, but I would refrain from answering their calls. They never leave a message and when I returned their call, no answer. They may try to look like a collection agency, but they aren't fooling me.
