Called and hung up immediately. I blocked my number and called back.
"Hi, this is Lisa with Reward Redemption. You recently visited one of our affiliated websites......"
Now I'm online constantly so I let her continue her pitch.
" you've been awarded a $100 dollar visa gift card-just for visiting one of our affiliated websites... I just need to get your first and last name ...."
I then asked her why she didn't already have that information- especially if she had initially called me & I had been on one of their "affiliate websites"
Lisa then try's to avoid answering my question. So I stopped her chatter and asked her- what additional information would she be need- besides my name -to get this $100 gift card?
Next thing I heard was a dial tone... She hung up on me.
This is most likely an identity theft/credit card fraud scam - ( see notes from page1 where person was asked to pay a $3.99 processing fee to get their $100 voucher- an processing fee had to be done via credit/ debit card.
