Guy texted me from a craigslist housekeeping ad I placed. He sent a check, my neighbor warned me it was a scam. I did not cash it, but guy claims I did, and has threatened to send his FBI brother to collect, and to send machinery to kill my family

File reports with the real FBI and turn the check over to them.Also file a complaint with your LE and your phone service provider. You can also file a complaint with the US postal on the check, sending fake checks through the mail is a crime also.

I replied to a house for rent in Cae St. Claire, MD, and the address is 1203 Southview Dr. Annapolis, MD. So after I sent the email saying I was interested in renting the house, I got an email back from email address "[email protected]", and he said his phone number is 5072000493. Now he has been texing me all day saying that I have to send money first to get the keys and the house papers etc, so of course I knew it was a scam then and I googled the phone number and found other people saying this # is associated with a scam. Whoever this guy is, is saying that he's a "Reverend" and goes by Samuel Dickson and has moved to Texas with his family on a "missionary trip".

I replied to a craigslist ad about a house for rent and got the email back from a "reverend Samuel Dickson" who moved to Texas. I sent him some info including name and address and phone #. I got a call from a man with an African accent who started only worrying about getting money and after a while the price kept going down so I knew all he wanted was money. My girlfriend googled his number and this website came up. I hate that he has some of our info but not too much so I'm glad we figured out it was a scam before it was too late. In his email he did mention a "personal assistant" by the name of Cyrus Phelps Jr. I found Cyrus on facebook and I will let him know he will not be scamming me. I even told this Samuel Dickson guy that my girlfriend is pregnant and he still proceeded to act holy. Way to use god to scam people. P.O.S. don't be fooled by people like this. Be smarter than I was.

This guy is trying to play the role of a man of the cloth. Don t be fooled by this scam, not only did I do a reverse search but also found the same house under a realtors web site. This guy is a pos and is preying on innocent people. I hope he gets caught. The phone is traced to a Minnesota area code.
