I have come to the conclusion that illegal telemarketers have lost their minds.
This caller had my name and address.  The pronunciation was amusing and my answers did not confirm or deny his information.  I was a bit flippant.  He advised me that information was being sent to me in black and white (huh?)for my review, for me to discuss with my family and someone would contact me to set up an appointment.  Oh, did I mention it was absolutely free?  Nothing is really free flashed through my mind.  He needed to make sure there were no large buildings or trees around my house.  At this point I was no longer amused.  I paraphrased that he would be sending something to a contractor to contact me.  He agreed.  I told him I was not interested.  Why, he wondered.  I told him because I was on the DNC list.  He stated (twice because I had him repeat it because I could not believe my ears) that this was "above the National and State DNC lists.".  Called him a liar and heard some indignation before I disconnected and blocked the call.
