I keep getting calls from this 508-263-9010 but when I answer sometimes on the 1st ring, no one is there. I get the calls same time every day. I called back and heard "Power House Remodeling Group" recording, but I can't reach a human, just the machine. I just got another call at 9:30am, answered it quickly and heard a woman's voice saying "no one's there". Perhaps its a sheepish telemarketer w/cold feet but it's annoying me and my wife.

508-263-9010 belongs to Power Home Remodeling Group (http://www.powerhrg.com/). I was at my local BJ's Wholesale Club in Hudson, MA and a guy walked up to me to ask about my roof. I was suckered into having them come over for a free estimate. The next night, a guy came over and had a look around the house and inside my attic. He sat us down to do his presentation and 4 hr later, we said no to a $30k roofing investment. $30k for a new roof? I don't care if it's got a 50 year warranty. I'm not paying $30k for it, especially not when I won't even be living in the same house in 50 yr (I'm currently 34 yr old). I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize unless they leave a voicemail and to this day, they have not left a voicemail to let me know who it is. That's sketchy and terrible business practice. I don't remember the exact day they first came over but it was early in February and according to my cell phone call history, their first call was on 2/11/13. It is 3/14/13 today and they are still calling. And now because they are harassing me with calls everyday, I am getting back at them by posting this here and hopefully whoever sees this will NOT consider working with Power Home Remodeling Group. I don't care if they are a scam or not, but their poor marketing practice is enough to not want to work with them. Power HRG, leave me the hell alone!!
I have seen this number show up on caller ID for weeks now. I finally answered the call this morning. It is Power Home Remodeling Group. The woman on the phone said she was calling to 'reschedule' an appointment (that we never made) for an estimate for replacement windows. She said my wife had signed up for the original estimate. Of course, she was vague about when and where my wife had made this appointment. This makes no sense, as this is something that my wife would never pursue. Also, half the windows in our house are less than 10 years old, from an addition we put on in 2004. There is no reason we would be looking to replace any windows anytime in the near future. I asked the woman to please take us off the calling list. We have been registered on the Federal 'Do Not Call' list for years; if they continue to call, I will see what I can do to give them some grief.
