Currently on hold with these guys now. Claim to be a Comcast subcontractor. Say they're gonna get me better deal on my cable. Seemed to know I had a lot of DVRs. Wanted to know the name of my security company. It's odd that Comcast would try to undersell itself. Deal: 1 Cloud DVR, 3 addnl X1 boxes, sports entertainment package, home security package. $282 / month. Seems legitimate if pricey. I figured a scammer would lower the price to try to get my credit card number or something, but they didn't.
Call 5:15pm from a guy with a strong foreign accent saying he was calling about Comcast Security, call shows up as Unknown on TV but was from Whitinsville MA. I tried to call Comcast regarding a scam but their help menu makes it impossible to get help.
