been getting calls from this number for a few days now. a few per day. very annoying. It all started the day we paid our son's Metro PCS cell phone bill. All of a sudden that day both my son's cell phone AND our home phone are getting spammy calls from this number. Very annoying. Can't get them to stop.
To all those people that said they never talked with a scout you probably didn't I made the mistake of talking to one before and they require you give then multiple phone numbers insisting they will only call the others if you don't answer your primary number. But someone you know gave them your info.
I have been getting calls from these people for over two years and had warned them recently that it would be in their best interest to not call again... I told them that someone was going to be seriously hurt and that if they had any compassion for their employees then my number would be removed from their list... Well they didn't stop calling and I blew an airhorn in the phone last month... Guess what I haven't got another call. Horrible tatic but it worked like a charm... adios [***]
I started getting calls from this number on my cell phone last weekend...2-3 calls per day, sometimes at odd hours like 9pm. She (Christine?) left a message the first time, then mostly calls with no message after that. Since the calls were not from someone I know I was simply rejecting all of the calls unanswered figuring they would give up pretty quickly and leave me alone, but last night I had finally had enough and answered, yelling at the woman to stop calling me. The message appears to have gotten through, as no calls thus far today. I do not have children and so obviously did not do the scouting sign-up thing at the Mall or Six Flags as others have reported, so either someone who did sign up their kid gave them the wrong number, or it was a randomly generated robo-call (the latter seems like a colossal waste of their time, though, if they are specifically looking for child talent).
