Sick and tired of numerous calls. Am trying to take the time to report them to ftc.gov. website. This one said Holliston, MA on my caller I.D. The latest common one was Washington, D.C on caller I.D. and the message was a scam from IRS. Just about everyone is getting that one! They reported this scam on the news, so why can't anyone put a stop to it?
Congress did not legalize them. They are allowed to make calls to anyone they choose, and if you are on a DNC list, like me, by the time anyone investigates they have changed numbers or locations. Next to impossible to stop them. And if they are out of the country, which many are, the US has no legal jurisdiction.
