Ignore or block calls from these scammers; the males that call tend to have an attitude towards American women that they can "put one over" and they will continue to call just to hear your voice.
I am on the National Do Not Call Registry for cell phones. I just filed a complaint with the FCC (Federal Communication Commission). This is the government body for your complaints. Male said he was calling from Computer Technical Department. I asked if department or company. He said Company was Tech...(unintelligible - strong east Indian or similar accent) Said I had malware on my computer. I asked what country and state calling from. He said Freehold DE. (Call ID was Douglas, MA)I asked for the ISP address. Another person came on. Said it's the Windows Computer. I said there's more than one (there is only one). I asked for all the IP addresses. He said all are being affected. I gave a sarcastic ohhhhhh. Then I asked if he knew that I was on the do not call registry for cell phones.
He said "[***] you." I said the same to him and his mother. and he hung up.
Saw they had called at 8:11 am ! Caller ID says "Likes Alexandra" . Answered when they called again-guy with Indian accent said he was calling from "Windows Support" told him no thank you and please do not call again and blocked the number.
Called 3 times today. Answered 3rd call. Indian mam said he's from Windows and virus and malware has infected all internet connections in my area. Decided to play along while he tried to give me detailed instructions. Told him didn't know much about computers and my grandson was the one who turned it on for me everyday. He became really frustrated and after 5 minutes, I finally told him I knew this was a scam. Told him to f::k off. He proceeded to yell and tell me to do the same. Think his blood pressure went through the roof. Told him not to call again and I hung up. Playing him along made my day.
