These people have been calling me for weeks. I never answer. They have called as many as 9 times in one day. Today it was only twice; usually it is Much more. I got Caller ID because of them. Never needed it before. And I recently installed a Call Blocker device. This number is now blocked. I love my Call Blocker!
After my son hung up on the guy, he called me back, I answered and he threatened to kill my son. What the hell!! Has anything like this happened to anyone else?
Many times. Be prepared to hear ANYTHING when you're dealing with unknown callers. That includes threats of death, terrorism, and rape. It may be a good idea to notify the police, however, it's very unlikely anything will happen. If you don't recognize the number calling, play it safe and let it ring, denying them a chance to leave a message, if possible. This may also be a scammer who's not having any luck, which causes hostility as well.
