Not sure if there is a pattern, but the chimney calls started this morning and I foolishly answered, thinking it was a call I WANTED. Next thing I know, I have endless spam calls.
We got a call from this number today at 5:31 pm and didn't answer. The caller ID was AUBURN MA. No voicemail message was left. When I called back (our number is hidden by default on outgoing calls) I heard no ring and no answer, just silence. Thanks to all who posted information about this number. It will be added to our call blocker.
These calls ARE NOT FROM EVERSOURCE! It is from someone trying to get Eversource customers to switch suppliers with the promise of lowering your rates. DO NOT give them your account info because then they can slam your account and switch you even if you do not want it/ This is also a bait and switch scam where you get a lower rate at first and then suprise your rates are higher
This is not eversource making these calls. I called them about this and it is someone trying to get you to switch> sorry about the caps. Hit caps lock by accident
My answering machine picked this up. Usual message about lowering electric rate. But when the answering machine did not press 1 (!) the message repeated, and repeated, and ... I had to pick up the answering phone and hang it up. They get ever more annoying. The number is now blocked (Call Clerk program).
