I keep getting these calls where a sweet girl starts in talking about because I have recently stayed at one of their resort hotel I am eligible for free nights blah blah. Then she says can you hear me. I never answer just hang up. Caller ID is never the same. Does anyone know more about these calls?
Don't answer if you don't recognize the number. If they are important, they'll leave a voicemail or text you. Don't bother pressing 9 or whatever to opt out; they will just sell your number to other scammers and you'll get even more calls. If they call a second time, just block the number. Most cell phones will allow you to block calls. The phone companies are obviously in kahoots with these jerks.
