This number is a business phone number and is call for someone that works in a factory and does not work in the office. The person will not give his companies name, Supervisors name, or any business information.
My daughter just received a threatening phone call from a man who said he was Miguel Rodriguez and gave the following phone number 508-463-0718 and claimed to be with the detection of financial fraud, Boston Massachusetts. My nervous daughter passed the phone to me. He told me that my daughter was used as a reference by a childhood friend to commit financial fraud and that my daughter was liable if she did not provide information about her childhood friends whereabouts. I told him to give me the company's street address in Boston at which he started shouting over me and would not allow me to speak. he said he would continue calling her number till we gave him info on her childhood friend. I told him that I would do independent research, turn the matter to my attorney and would call the police and the FBI fraud prevention unit. At this point he started threatening that my daughter would be no more. Funny thing is that he gave me a Latino name but spoke with an Indian accent. I should know as I am Indian. I spoke to the local police and they said that this was a scam and pay no attention.
Your ear for accents serves you well. India is crawling with fake debt collectors using stupid "hot check" claims to commit extortion. Consumer debt, which includes payday loans, is *NOT* a criminal concern, no matter how much these bums want to scream "fraud".
The agents' horrid threats are empty and their conduct is illegal. As early as possible it's critical to determine if your collector is domestic or yet another South Asian faker. The former you can sue into submission; the latter tend to be out of reach.

This person says his name is Roy calling me on myjob saying I owe this cash cashing place money,he is very annoying,and is causing problems for me on my job.
Same here, I work for a government facility if they know best they need to stop calling me, on my job before it will get trace and they will get arrested.
They called me yesterday 4 times and now have called me today at work again. I picked up the phone because they were harrasing the receptionist. I would not give them my personal information and said they would keep calling until they got what they wanted. Said his name is Terence Howard with the phone number 508-463-0718. This is unreal. Can I call the police on them? I don't know what they think they are going to get especially when I don't owe anything that is not being paid on.
