Why can't the phone companies, FCC, state or fed'l govt do more to put these phone scammers in jail? How hard could it be to electronically back trace the activity to the source and go after any and all names (on registrations, bills, tax returns, etc.) tied to the corporate shell that is participating in these scams?
Well, fact is , no one knows where they are located. You could be dealing with just a group of scammers sitting around a room scamming. There may be no legal structure involved. Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.
