Scam. I was trying to apply for a payday loan back in august but was unable to get one because i didn't have a checkings account. This is not the first call i received like this, these people are just trying to scare people into giving them money by saying they have a court order. Once you mention law enforcement they hang right up.
A person with a heavy accent and foul language has called our hospital's main switchboard 25 times in the span of 45 minutes. This person keeps demanding to be put through to Teresa. When we explain that we are a large hospital with over 2200 employees and that we cannot transfer personal calls, he starts cursing and yelling at the PBX operators "dumb [***]" and "shut your mouth". I personally spoke with this person and he tried to tell me that my hospital was liable for a personal pay day loan from ACE Cash Express that an employee took out. I have threatened to call the police if his harrassment doesn't stop.
I work the switchboard at work and this person called trying to reach one of our employees. I told him he needed to call her at her residence and not to call her at work. He said he will call until she answered her phone. He continued calling all my lines and hollering at me to conect him to her line. I finally told him I had reported it to AT &T and they were tracking his phone and he just laughed and said no one can stop him. I hope with all this information you have that someone will finally arrest this stupid man. He reminds me of Peggy, with a "I can't understand accent," the commercial for Capital One or one of those credit cards.
A MAN BY THE NAME OF PAUL CALLED ME AT WORK TELLING ME THAT I GOT A LOAN IN JUNE WITH THERE COMPANY NO SUCH THING HAS HAPPEN. HE HAS CALLED AND CONTINUOUSLY HARASSED ME AT WORK TODAY CALLING AND HANGING UP TALKING CRAP TO MY CO WORKERS. I CALLED THEM BACK AND ALL HE CAN SAY IS SHUT UP!!!
A man with a thick Indian accent called my cellphone, he was very rude and called me a liar, I immediately told him I knew it was a scam and not to call anymore. He called 34 times on my cellphone til I got it blocked. I then proceeded to go to work, he was calling my work and harassing the phone operators, demanding to speak to me. My work had already called a law offical, and he was talking to the guy. I realize it is a scam, but do these guys really think that they are gonna get more money by calling people names and cursing. Idiots
same people called me several times today on my cell phone and at work - when I didn't answer my direct line, they called into the main line - I told them I would call back later and hung up, which then they called every two minutes! they proceeded to then call several other people. they are getting information from your applications online for payday loans and then trying to make you believe you took out a loan that you didn't pay back. when I called them back and asked for specific details, they couldn't give it to me and told me to stop harrassing them!!! Then went back to my desk and they started calling again, threatening that my life would be ruined if I didn't pay them right then. I would be arrested the next day and they couldn't be responsible for what else would happen to my life. They were very hard to understand - very heavy middle eastern accent. Not sure how to get rid of them - put I will try threatening them with police intervention...
