As a follow-up to my earlier post. I stopped buying anything on-line. Too many calls
and too many pop-ups. If I need something I look up then go to that store and buy.
I pay a few bills on line but that's about it.
The number is a Worcester MA based business line (via whitepages.com) The record message states that you have reached Stack It (not sure of the spelling)- view rent to own homes in your area. Please hold to speak to a representative. I just hung up. Not sure how they got my cell number but they called and did not leave a voicemail.
I have never received as much spam and calls in my life until I changed my cell service to Verizon. I think they are selling our numbers. They just hang up. This is quite creepy.
Lady named Ashley (I didn't catch her company name)remarked that I had just recently checked my credit score and her firm can help raise my score - I hung up. About a week ago I went online and got a mortgage refinance quote from Royal United in Indianapolis. I assume Royal United checked my credit score and Ashley from 508-713-0174 intercepted my personal info or the two firms are in cahoots . I consider it to be a scam.
