Yes I have been receiving these types of calls since June 2010. Jan 3, 2011, these internation calls called my employer and began bursting out my social security number to whoever answered the phone. My employer eventually blocked the calls. In June I sent money because I was threathened so bad, I was shaking. I assume since they knew everything about me that they were leget. Not until months later I learned that it was a scam, and that this organization bought info from online payday loan info. I'm glad that this is a phony agency. I truly hope that it get discovered and shutdown.
This company or person has harrassed me and my employer until no end, they caused my suspension from my job. My employer has nothing to do with anything. I was sick in the hospital and informed them of that. Do you think they stopped with the harrasment? The same person use several different names when they call.
My mother was contacted by this number several times in the past few years. It is a scam run out of either Africa or India, they get people to wire them thousands of dollars and then call them back and get more. The FBI is unable to do anything to prevent these calls or try to track down who is making them. I suggest trying to find your own solution to the problem, our course of action is going to be to return the harassment. He told my mom that he would mail her a bill and she could shove it up her p**sy, so I called him and threatened his life. You can block phone numbers from phones nowadays and I would suggest this if you simply do not want to hear from them, but warning you that they will most likely contact all the people you know and ploy the same scam attempting to get money out of you.
Threatening phone calls with criminal and civil law suits without substantiating. The people who answer the call sound like it is from an IP phone somewhere in India.
