Morons called my DNC-listed landline again, this time, today at 1448 hours. Now they're claiming to be a "survey" company and if I take the survey then they'll give me a "FREE" cruise to the Bahamas! Imagine that! Who would possibly give me a "free" cruise for just taking a survey?! Surely they must be legit! I mean, it's not as if they've called before with other scams... Oh, wait... Unfortunately, when the system asked if I was ready to take the survey, it didn't understand my response in which I graphically told them what they can do to themselves. After the second time of detailing the indignities they should perform on themselves, the system cheerfully apologized for bothering me and promised to remove my number from their list. Yeah, right. If I actually believed that, I'd be qualified for a 'free' cruise just for taking a survey. Maybe I should have played along and see how long it would take before they'd need a credit card number for my "free" cruise.
Survey scams:
Call back gets, "Thanks for calling. The survey you were called for is now finished." This robo "survey" is how the telemaggots get around the DNC regulations. There is no survey just some nonsense questions. You'll be offered a free something for completing the survey then asked for you credit card number. It's a SCAM. Block it.
