At 8:42am I picked up a call from this number. After asking for me by name, the woman launched into her pitch about some "cancer research". When I interrupted to tell her to put my number on their "do not call" list (as if they actually have one -- Ha Ha!), she hung up on me. Now, THAT's the way to endear yourself to potential donors.
I conclude they must obviously be a scam, just based on her poor response to my polite request.
Came up originally as 508-980-7067, but now caller ID just says 980-7067. Claiming to be some sort of cancer research charity, wants to get a pledge for money and send a card to my address. No name for the charity, just long-winded description of helping families with medications and medical supplies.
