Even if you hadn't answered, they would simoply move on to the next person listed on the clients account and if no one was able to help, emergency Services would be called for the client.
this number is life line systems for the elderly so if they dialed your number it was to contact next of kin
but perhaps they just dialed your number by mistake...
This actually is "Lifeline"---- a safety service for people in their homes----
I just received a called from them @ 11:00PM & they were calling the former owners of our present phone number to inform them that their neighbor had fallen! They supplied the correct name of the lady who used to have our phone number so I gave them their new phone number.
I'm so glad that I actually took this call so that the lady who just fell gets the help that she needs!
