Everyone needs to go to the FTC complaint assist every time they receive one of these calls. I've been doing this every time since a few days ago, because these calls will just not stop! Maybe someone there will actually do something about it if they get enough complaints!!?!?!
Is this just a Verizon service thing??? I noticed a lot a people who got these calls mentioned they had verizon service, if so I am inclined to complain to verizon company.
same caller-i looked up the #, found the same address in south bedford, ma, did a quick google map search, it looks like a neighborhood... check this explanation:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Bedford,_Massachusetts
Go straight to the part about 'crime' in this city (near the bottom of the page) and don't be picking up any of these calls, i think....
I agree with sickofit - FILE A COMPLAINT at the FTC
https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en
Also you can contact
FTC: 888-225-5322
Unlawful Call Center: 800-257-2969 at the end of the long message hit "0" to get a live officer
My calls began with my house phone then starting getting them on my cell phone. Another SCAM is a call about my interest rate on my bank credit card is going to increase. Same results as the CAR Warranty scam. Any attempts to remove yourself or speak to someone is useless.
