Everyone needs to go to the FTC complaint assist every time they receive one of these calls. I've been doing this every time since a few days ago, because these calls will just not stop! Maybe someone there will actually do something about it if they get enough complaints!!?!?!
I have recieved several calls not all from the same number all about the same car warranty for about a year now (before I even had a car.) it is annoying, but I live in tracy, ca which is about 20 minutes from Stockton, if they call again I will answer and tell these people off.
I have received at least 12 calls over the past three months and when you click 1 to speak with someone it either rings off the hook or someone answers that can barely speak english. I still haven't figured out exactly what the point is.
4/7/09 1:54 PM eastern, same repetitive call with a recorded voice stating that this is the second notice regarding a vehicle extended warranty. I can assure everyone that I have received this call at least a dozen times prior to today. Wondering if there is a way to shut down this scam.
