Female robocall: Hi, This is Kate, Google+ local specialist..." I went through the message to get to the "press 2 to be removed from this list." That was an absolute joke. As soon as I hung up, it called right back. I just picked up and hung up. There has got to be a way to stop these. I can only block so many numbers through Comcast and they call from a different number/state every week. Ridiculous.
Robo call about Google local specialist, Google plus page offer. You have press 1 that you are interested and then 1 again that you are a business owner. Then they try to sell you $99 a month SEO services that I can assure you will bring little to NO benefit. They promise first page listings which they may do for you, but if no one is searching for what they use, how can there be any benefit to you?
NEVER use a SEO or marketing provider that has to use phone calls or email spam to get your business. You will only lose money and get frustrated. Report these and all robo calls to the FTC at 1-888-382-1222.
They started calling telling us to claim our Google website. Now they tell us that we need to claim our Google+ site. They are not Google and they do not actually represent Google. They are a 3rd party looking to make money off small businesses. I have asked numerous times to be removed, both by speaking to a person and by pressing 2. News Flash: YOU HAVE REACHED A FEDERAL OFFICE, not a small business. We maintain our own websites and we certainly do not use Google+
STOP CALLING! (we cannot get listed on the No Call List because we have to be available to all of America.
