Call from another 'google-bot' mapping the world of potential clients to sell ads... These come constantly, not only calls from "WA USA" which turn out to be these robo-cold-calls powered by Google, but also letters in the (USPS) mail - seems they really want to sell me SEO tools or services, while other communications are telling me their search engines will start punishing not 'with the program' of converting the entire web into mobile-sized ad grist. Google should stop being so aggressive about ads, lest people confuse them with the Facebook intrusions into daily life, for fun and "social ad" sales.
Today, robocall - Katie from google plus.
today, I say yes, I am the business owner and get patched through to a male person. I tell him I him this is harassment as they call all the time. He gets rude and tells me that he was already told me who they are, and hangs up.
These jerks call me 4-6 times per day, on my personal (not associated with any business) phone number! They call from all different area codes including 509 and 360 where I have family, so of course I always answer just in case it's an emergency. There's no way to talk to a human so I can't tell them to stop calling me. I don't want to change my number but it might be the only option I have left. So frustrating!
Automated call claiming to be from "google places" but total fake when I asked name of company then hung up... so when they call you...do the same hang up
