Got a call from this number, left a message: "Please call this emergency number 5093466038 immediately. Repeat please call this emergency number immediately" I didn't because if it was legitimate, they would have left more information other than this type of message.
got a call from509-346-6038. female said she was calling for the IRS and they were filing suit on me. called the # got some guy who sounded as if he was from the mid east or indian. asked what # was called and my name then said sorry wrong #. think it three him as i used a land line to call back.
My mom called me crying (she is 72) because she received a message from the "IRS" stating they were suing her and to call immediately. I told her the IRS would send something in the mail or even send the Sheriff if she was being sued. I'm glad I found this site because I couldn't convince her and she was freaking out about her retirement.
These people are terrible.

I received a call @ 6:00 this morning with a message stating that they were the IRS and they had a lawsuit against me and to call them back immediately. Like a dummy I did and got this woman who did not speak very good english and she gave me her badge # and started telling me there was an arrest warrant out for me. I went ballistic on her and said the IRS does not call people and tell them this information, then she switched me to another non-english speaking person who was very rude and wanted me to settle the money that I owed the IRS for the yeas 2008-2013. I got very nasty with this guy and told him that he needed to send me information in the mail and then I hung up on him. I also called my CPA and reported it to him.
I experienced the same situation as the other commenters. I actually was stupid enough to believe them and thought at one point I was going to be arrested...shame on me! It finally occurred to me to google the number, and in which I found numerous commenters about this scam going on. I told the guy I on the phone once I investigated him and this issue I would get back to him. They have called numerous times all week. I cussed them out yesterday and have blocked 2 numbers now that have been calling. So ridiculous!
