Says I have been selected to receive $7900 in a grant I will never have to pay back or pay taxes for. My id number is NA174 and as soon as I hung up with her I needs to call the number sachets gave me. Of course I didn't believe it but what I want to know is how did they get my phone number and name
Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. All they have to do is plumb numbers into a computer or robo dialing machine. However, google your name and number, any place such as spokeo that shows up, make them remove it.
Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.For tracfone & straight talk:
