They have called me 10 times in the last 2 days I finally called them back and got hung up on when I ask them to give me my social security number so I can verify they are who they say they are. It was very difficult to understand them because they are in a different country very heavy accents.
I've been getting several calls a day from 509-643-4335 claiming that the IRS is bringing a law suit against me. Know it's a scam, but sick and tired of getting the calls
Had several calls. Answered one of them and hung up. One was a message describing my problems with the IRS and a magistrate would appear at my door tomorrow if I did not pay the taxes. This is an absurd scam but they persisted and they really should be stopped. The call originated from Sunnyside ,Washington and I don't see why this location could not be accessed and shut down.
IRS scam phone call, called 4 times and left automated voicemails. Also got 2 calls with same voicemail from a 202 number yesterday. I hope no one has fallen for such an obvious scam and that the perpetrators are found quickly and dealt with.
