Computer generated call, left voice message that IRS is suing us. We know we don't owe any money and online check through IRS confirms this is a scam caller. Call originates from Sunnyside, WA, we blocked it. If you know you don’t owe taxes or have no reason to believe that you do, report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) at 1.800.366.4484 or at www.tigta.gov.
If you know you owe taxes or think you might owe, call the IRS at 1.800.829.1040. The IRS workers can help you with a payment issue.
Must there day to call everyone. Got the same message about owing the IRS. I called back when I stated I was returning their call the young woman hung up on me. Very much a scam.
